Over the years, I have developed this super-great Record Specific<\/em> <\/strong>Research Log spreadsheet. It is unique in that it groups your research by record types—birth record searches in one tab, death record searches in another, and etc. Additionally, the use of color helps visually identify record types.<\/p>\n\n\n\n The page to log Residence Searches uses the column headings found specifically in Swedish household surveys, but you can change the headings as needed for censuses or other records. Of course everything can be adapted to your records and preferences.<\/p>\n\n\n\n Please download and peruse the Example<\/strong> file to see where to put source citations, links to records, and other information.
